Finally semester 3 session 2007/2008 is over. How about my marks? Not bad actually, but I’was little bit sad because my GPA lower 0.1 point with my entire marks at semester 2. Now, I want to evaluate what I have done in that semester. I just took two subjects (because it was short semester, dear .

Elementary Qur’anic Language I LQ 0161 with teacher Shalahuddin from Sudan.

This subjects is easy, but the teacher is vey dicipline. Once you are absent, he will ask so many questions. My sugesstion is, if you really love to come early you must choose this teacher (although the teacher always earlier then you).He’s also never absent, never late, and always remember you, your name, and your attitude.

Then don’t forget to do the home works (copy the passage from the text book) and study from the text book. The final exam will be as easy es the mid term, and all the answers are in the text book. He also have two quizes. One is from the 1st chapter- 15th chapter, the second is reading quiz. So you must give your attention while the teacher lectures how to read the passages.

My second tips is don’t let your text book lost, hehehe….

Mathematics BSC 0110, with DR. Faiz

Do your hard work from the beginning. DO all the exercise so that you can do the quizes. Sometime I gathered with my friends just to solve the exercises. DR. Faiz is kind, but in some quiz (or may be in the mid term, or final exam) he loves to make the students confuse by the questions. Fuih….Before I forget, no multiple choices in the exams. So you must know well about the topics, don’t try to remember the answers (sometime he gave us the same question as the exercises).

O yeah, the text book (Pre Calculus, Mc Graw Hill) is also important. If you want to challenge your self, try to solve the questions as many as you can. (for me, I just spent my little time with this book, hohoho)

Ok, i think that’s enough from me. The rest is in your hands. Finish the bridging courses is not the end of my journey. There will be a bigger challenge and difficulties, but I believe if we can work hard on it, and keep pray, Allah will do the rest of our hard work. Pretend your way of learning, be istiqomah. Ok,,,
